Quiznos drops sub prices for franchisees
Quiznos had to drop their sub prices, such that they now have 20 subs under $5. They have accompanied the price change with a massive TV ad campaign. While this is great news from consumers, who have multiple value menus to choose from among other quick-serve restaurants, this is bad news for franchise owners, who are now dealing with lower margins. Right now, the majority of marketing folks are out visiting franchisees to see what happens at actual locations– to learn what franchisees are thinking and hear how they can improve.
